I upgraded to the Lipinski L-707s just before working on the debut solo album for James Sonefeld(drummer for Hootie & the Blowfish), titled Snowman Melting (Aquarian Nation Records, JSCD001). 

I immediately noticed the L-707s are deadly accurate. It’s so easy to make confident decisions based on the information they provide. I was also struck by their sheer sonic ability. I’m able to hear things I hadn’t before, as well as work more efficiently under deadline. 

But regardless of how impressed a “gear head” is with a product’s technical specs, the client’s opinion of the finished master is the acid test. The producer (Francis Dunnery) was satisfied with my first reference master. His message on my voicemail summed it up nicely, “I just wanted to let you know I think you did an incredible job with the Jim Sonefeld project. I think it sounds absolutely fantastic! Thank you.” 

I can certainly say that the success I had mastering Snowman Melting is due in no small part to the Lipinski L-707s. Thanks for creating such good speakers. They’ve made my life easier…and my business better.
